How to choose the Mega Millions Megaplier?
You actually cannot choose the Mega Millions Megaplier. The Megaplier number is selected randomly by a ball being drawn from a separate drum after the main numbers and the Mega Ball are drawn. All you can do as a player, is to choose wether you want to add the Mega Millions Megaplier to your ticket when you complete the purchase (for a small additional fee).
The Megaplier is drawn separately from the rest of the draw and has no effect on the winning odds!
What are the odds of each Megaplier being drawn?
Each Megaplier number has different odds. However, the Megaplier x3 is the most represented and, therefore, has the best odds of being drawn.
