The Multiplier is a multiplier offered by the Mega Millions lottery. Players can see their secondary winnings get multiplied 2, 3, 4, 5 or even 10 times, depending on the Multiplier pulled out during the draw. Note: the Multiplier does not influence the value of the jackpot!
How does the Mega Millions Multiplier work?
Each ticket will have a randomly assigned Multiplier number. Players who win a second category prize can have their winnings multiplied by the number of times indicated by the Multiplier that comes out during the Mega Millions draw.
- During the official draw, the Multiplier is drawn on a grid between 2 and 10.
